“You’re wrong…, it’s not Dubai.”
I chanced upon this article from CNN a month ago and was excited to share it with you. Why? Because I could not believe that I am actually here, living in it, the richest city in the world. Oh yeah, I thought too it was Dubai, but it’s actually Abu Dhabi the capital of United Arab Emirates. Here, where I’ve been working for a couple of years now and where the Emirates Palace, the most expensive hotel in the world was built. And contrary to some stories, that you have to pay to be able to gawk the luxurious edifice, it is totally untrue. Fact is, I got to gawk several times not only its gold plated doorknobs and walls but also expensive Picasso art pieces during one of its public exhibits.

To find out why Abu Dhabi is right now on the pedestal, read the article here: http://money.cnn.com/magazines/fortune/fortune_archive/2007/03/19/8402357/index.htm
So, you know why this conservative city is on tops?
